The Souls series is a series of action role-playing video games created and developed by FromSoftware. The series began with the release of Demon's Souls for the PlayStation 3 in 2009. It was followed by Dark Souls in 2011, and its sequels, Dark Souls II and Dark Souls III, in 2014 and 2016, respectively. With the exception of Dark Souls II, the games were directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki.
The Souls games are played in a third-person perspective, and focus on weapon and magic-based combat with monsters, and exploration. Players battle bosses, interact with the strange non-playable characters, and journey through the medieval-like, interconnected environments in order to progress through the story. The series is particularly notable for its difficulty, a common point of both praise and criticism.
The games take place within a medieval fantasy setting, where the player fights against knights, dragons, and various monsters. A recurring theme of the games' settings is that of a once powerful and prosperous kingdom, which has fallen into ruins after a series of unfortunate events. Each installment follows a different quest for the player character: in Demon's Souls, to try to halt the spread of a demon-infested fog; in Dark Souls, to prolong an age of prosperity known as The Age of Fire; in Dark Souls II, to find a cure for the ailment known as "hollowing"; and in Dark Souls III to put an end to the undead curse and the repeating cycle of The Age of Fire.
Bloodborne is an action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation 4. Officially announced at Sony's Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014 conference, the game was released worldwide in March 2015. Bloodborne follows the player character, the Hunter, through the decrepit Gothic, Victorian era inspired city of Yharnam, whose inhabitants have been afflicted with an abnormal blood-borne disease. Upon mysteriously awakening in Yharnam during the night of "The Hunt", the Hunter seeks out something known only as "Paleblood" for reasons unknown. The Hunter begins to unravel Yharnam's intriguing mysteries while hunting down its many terrifying beasts. Eventually, the Hunter's objective is to locate and terminate the source of the plague, and escape the nightmare.

Super design. De wereld was perfect connected. Afgeraffeld laatste kwart though. Steengoede DLC.
DLC is meh.
Bloodborne is nagenoeg perfect. Old Hunters DLC was fucking ace.

SotFS was so fucking good.
Dark Souls 2 was zo verdomde goed in build diversity <3

Kutaku maar goed, I need it.According to multiple sources, both in development and retail, in the next few hours Nintendo will announce a Nintendo Direct Mini to air shortly afterwards showing 2018 software for Switch. As part of this Nintendo Direct, Dark Souls Remastered will be revealed, updating the original game to be playable portably for the first time. Our sources say this is the closing announcement of the direct.
A few hours later it will be announced that Dark Souls Remastered is also coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC. These ports are being handled by a separate company from the Switch port, and will feature rebuilt lighting and SFX based on Dark Souls 3, as well as upscaled textures. One change we've been made aware of is that multiplayer will be expanded to support six concurrent players, which makes sense if the goal is to get Dark Souls' covenant system working a little more smoothly.
One of our sources indicates that Bandai Namco plans to bring all three Dark Souls games to Switch eventually, but the oft-rumoured 'trilogy' bundle is not how this will be happening – yet. The Dark Souls Remaster will be launching in May on all platforms

Mogelijk dus verbeterde controls?
The remake runs at 1080p on the PS4 and Xbox One with 60 FPS.
This is a REMAKE of the game using Dark Souls 3’s engine. Expect Combat differences.
Native 4k resolution on PC
Remaster renders upscaled 4K on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One while the PC version will feature resolution upto native 4K.
The remaster will feature up to 6 player online, like Dark Souls 3.
The multiplayer now has dedicated game servers rather than p2p
The remaster includes the DLC Artorias of the Abyss
Dedicated servers! 6 player online!
